Learning Outcome 4

Peer Reviewing was a good experience to have. It not only showed me ways I could edit someone else’s work, it showed me ways I could edit my own as well. With every peer review done own class, live improved in the ways I construct comments to help my peers with their essays.

In my first peer review I gave more positive feedback, than comments of areas my peer could improve on. It’s not bad to give positive comments, but I learned that my peers want to know where they can improve. In my peer review number 3 I gave more constructive feed back. I focused on my peers thesis alot, and told them how they can develop it more, and talk about their issue at hand more in their thesis. Comparing that to my first peer review, I left the comment that I liked the thesis, and I gave no tips on how they could make it even stronger. Another comparison between my first and final peer review is I left more comments on my final peer review, than my first one. Throughout the peer reviews I got more comfortable leaving comments, as well as I picked up more writing skills that I could talk about in the reviews.
