Metaphors are a good tool when expressing or writing. They can make a reader think of a different view on something. Or they can influence someone to do or think something. Metaphors open your mind to a different way of thinking. In medicine they are used to do the same thing. Khullar discusses how metaphors used in medicine can also have negative effect, and make people feel obligated to recover even if they are at the end of their fight. In this essay I will be discussing the positive effects on medicines metaphors, and how they influence for a better recover and fight for patients.
